To Help you determine your skimmer style we have provided descriptions of the Aquascape Skimmers below along with a visual table of the nets/baskets themselves Signature Series Skimmer The Signature Series Skimmer does not have a net. It has a hard plastic debris basket. Signature MicroSkim The new style is 16" across top x 14 1/4" at bottom x 12 3/4" tall. The skimmer lid is rounded in the back ( Skimmer brushes are supported all the way around with steel support frame.)
Classic MicroSkim The old style is 12.5" across the top and 11.5" across the bottom and 12" high. A way to tell the difference is that this skimmer lid is square with no rounding in the back. (Skimmer brush hang only from a top rod) UltraSkim This replacement skimmer net works with both the 6" or 8" ultra skimmer. Please note, that this net works with the aquascape skimmer that uses the green filter brushes with NO filter pad. Standard Classic Skimmer This is a classic skimmer net. Please note that there are two different sizes, with very subtle differences. The standard skimmer net has a 6" opening. Large Classic Skimmer This is a classic skimmer net. Please note that there are two different sizes, with very subtle differences. The Large skimmer net has a 9" opening. Grande Classic Skimmer The Grande skimmer net has a 15.4" opening
